Gather up any garden books that you’ve outgrown and bring them along to Seedy Saturday. Trade them for some new reading material or just donate them – either way, your old friends will find a treasured home with another gardener.
What kind of books do you take? Will you take magazines?
We take any kind of gardening book, magazine, or pamphlet – anything that might be of interest or use to another gardener.
Where do I take them?
The Book Exchange will be located in the eastern foyer next to the speakers signing table.
How do I do a trade?
The volunteers will estimate the value of what you bring in and then you can pick out items of roughly the same value to take.
I don’t have anything to trade. Can I buy a book from the exchange?
Yes, the (modest) prices for each item are displayed at the table.
I have a lot of books. Is there someplace I can drop them off beforehand?
Yes. If you have more than you want to bring with you or (for some utterly incomprehensible reason) can’t make it to Seedy Saturday, email [email protected] to arrange a more convenient drop-off time and place. Or you can arrange for one of our volunteers to pick up your donation.
