Welcome Spring at Victoria Seedy Saturday!

 

 

Seedy Saturday is the official start to the gardening season in Victoria. With a focus on organic, sustainable gardening and food security, Seedy Saturday is your place to find the seeds, tools and information to make 2020 your best growing year yet.

Included with each admission is a full program of presentations and workshops which take place throughout the day. Topics range from how to grow a seed to specialized topics.

Seedy Saturday features over 70 ‎ vendors and exhibitors as well as garden societies, clubs and educational programs in Greater Victoria.

Gardeners can also trade seeds at the seed exchange. It’s a great place to meet other gardeners and trade growing tips as well as expand your gardening repertoire.

Bring in garden books you’ve outgrown and trade them for ones that suit your current interests at the book exchange.

The Seedy Cafe is open from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, and a childrens’ activity area offers crafts and activities for enthusiastic new gardeners. Those under 16 are admitted free.
