If you are interested in health and healing consider dedicating a section of your garden to medicinal herbs and plants. Making remedies using common healing plants from your own garden is an empowering experience. Here is one example:
“Basil is a very good herb for treating itching. It is recommended to apply basil tea on the skin to get rid of itching. The tea is prepared by placing basil leaves into boiling water, and keeping the pan covered for some time, until the mixture is cool. Thereafter, a clean cotton cloth is dipped into the tea and applied on the affected skin areas to decrease itching.”
