The healing power of some plants has been known for thousands of years. But if you are interested in growing medicinal plants in your own garden, where should you begin?
Don Ollsin, Master Herbalist, will be sharing his experience in creating apothecary gardens at this year’s Seedy Saturday. Come hear Don, and find out which plants he recommends, based on their ability to flourish in our coastal climate and their usefulness in the modern home medicine chest.
Grow Your Own Medicine, February 16, 12:45 at the Victoria Conference Centre, 720 Douglas Street, is included in your admission to Victoria’s Seedy Saturday on a first-come-first-get-the-seats basis. Seedy Saturday runs from 10 to 4, admission $7, free for the under-12s.
