Marilyn Soames, The Chicken Lady, is back at Seedy Saturday this year!

She will be talking about – I’ll give you one guess – yes, chickens. Urban hens, to be precise.

Whether you dream of becoming a chicken-wrangler, or already have a flock of lovely ladies, come hear Marilyn. She’ll cover what you need to know, from food and drink to housing and health care, to keep your backyard chickens happy. Maybe even eggs-uberant.

Marilyn Soames, Backyard Chickens – Urban Hens, February 16, 2 pm at the Victoria Conference Centre, ria’s Seedy Saturday on a first-come-first-get-the-seats basis. Seedy Saturday runs from 10 to 4, admission $7, free for the under-12s.
